Why do I paint hats? I started painting hats when a dear friend needed a hat but couldn’t find one he liked or that fit. I searched the internet for 100% cotton beanies in the right style that I could paint. I spent days and couldn’t find what I wanted. In the meantime, I ordered a loose fitting beanie hat and painted some samples. I called up the local health food store and she ordered 6 saucer hats and 6 bucket hats. The hats sold out in 2 hours after store installation was finished. I hired a seamstress named Georgette who made me the beanie of my dreams. Today I finished my beanie for my friend “Tool Head.”
